Palo Alto's own James Franco just won the Golden Globe for Lead Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy. He beat out:
Steve Carell, "Battle of the Sexes"
Ansel Elgort, "Baby Driver"
Hugh Jackman, "The Greatest Showman"
Daniel Kaluuya, "Get Out"
In his speech Franco thanked his long time collaborator, Seth Rogen, who he's worked with since they worked on Freaks and Geeks in 1999 and his little brother, Dave Franco. He also thanked his mother for giving him Dave and pretty much declared themselves "The Franco Brothers" in homage to James's admiration for The Cohen Brothers. Congrats James! Way to make the Bay Area proud!
