Mabel Talks 90's R&B Influences, Frank Ocean + Performs "Don't Call Me Up"

Growing up, Mabel started singing around the age of 4 or 5. In addition to having parent musicians, her music is inspired by by 90's R&B and artists like Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake!

"...'Justified,' the first Justin Timberlake album, was like EVERYTHING to me growing up."

Despite being such an amazing performer, her first time was not a walk in the park! It was an intimate performance and she was so nervous, she actually cried! Thankfully now, her nerves have calmed and she loves everything about being on stage!

"I used to have the worst stage fright and literally be like 'I'm not gonna make it!' and now it's like, I've done hundreds of shows and it's my favorite thing in the whole world."

Aside from dropping her debut album this year, the "Don't Call Me Up" singer is hoping to travel and perform as much as possible! Not to mention, she dreams of working with Frank Ocean and we are all about this collaboration.
