Bay Area Veteran's Car Stolen With Service Dog Inside

This disabled vet is heartbroken without his service dog, who was in his car when it was stolen.

According to Fox KTVU, the car was stolen nearby 22nd Avenue and International Boulevard in Oakland:

Lipton had gotten out of his car to open a gate outside his home. That's when someone jumped into his car and took off - with Bella in a carrier in the back seat.

The thief got away and Lipton is hoping his dog is safe, saying:

"She's my heart and soul, and I don't care about the car at this point. Car can be replaced. She can't be replaced."

He is offering a $1,500 reward for the safe return of his beloved service dog. More information below.
